Below are some early concepts for a new homepage of the NOW TV Help site.
We’re excited to hear you thoughts, so have a look and let us know what you like or don't like. Here are some questions to get you going:
We’re trying to offer more personalised help to solve problems faster, but to do this we need users to have signed in.
If you have any other suggestions of how we can improve the design, leave us a comment.
Thanks!
Oh my what have you done the old page was slow loading the new one is much worse didn’t think you would make it worse you have.Even the website is very slow to load.
Hi
Totally agree don’t know what they have done but they have made the whole system very slow. You would have thought they would have tested the new format 1st.

You know Harry
I'm getting the distinct feeling that new updates are no longer tested before roll-out, they just guinea-pig us instead.

General comment - ditch the crass rebranding and return to the old NOW TV system of Passes. How the heck can I have an account and not be a member ? I really do not trust any of this and wasted a lot of time trying to work out how I could buy a pass....sorry, membership. I'll be sticking to C4 & C5 for my fix of F1 & NFL in future and save my money. I wonder how many other users have decided the same. Message to moderator - If this is in the wrong topic please move to the right one. I have wasted enough time on trying to sort my way through this rebranding to achieve anything.
Version C looks far more comprehensive and helpful, the current version sends me in loops and is no help at all! I still haven’t found an answer to my issues, it’s 2021 but I may have to resort to picking up the phone and exercise my social anxiety by actually speak to someone
Well, whoever you speak to on the phone, it isn’t going to be Now, as they don’t offer phone support for anything outside of just their broadband service 😭
But however you contact them, they are going to be pretty deaf to your entreaties; the new Now UI they were so pleased with on the NowTV sticks, which drove many of us to Roku, Amazon Fire, or native TV apps, will thankfully die with the discontinuation of the Now Sticks, a vote of no confidence in that UI particularly remarkable in that it seems to be shared by Now themselves 😛
If your going to buy an Android box, why don't you buy an Amazon Fire Stick instead?
Its got the NOW app on it, and you can also side load plenty other apps onto it too.
Plus it supports the Ethernet adapater for the Ethernet cable.
Since the Smart box, none of the hardware from NOW has been great. Which is why they will no doubt focus on the app itself than produce new hardware to sell.
Hi
Thats a good idea I have gone back to using freesat I only use now for the sport it’s easy to flick over to now from freesat .Now have completely ruined the format for me the whole system is very slow especially since they changed the system to look like sky Q.I would suspect they will loose a lot of customers but I really don’t think they care.

The UI has been absouetly fine on all my devices.
iPad, works like a charm
Amazon Fires tick 4K works smoothly
Sony Android TV, zero complaints.
The only devices I have heard about the UI being slow is on older devices like the NOW stick and older Roku sticks.
What you have to bare in mind is Comcast owns Sky, who has launched Peacock TV in the US. Which has a very similar layout and branding to NOW. My guess is that they want to somehow "launch" Peacock in the UK, and NOW is that platform what they are going to use it for.

Hi
I have a Google Chromcast And It Very easy to put now tv on that,
It can be done in under five minutes and no buffer also.
Few ways you can put now tv as well as apple and all the local players bbc itv C4 more4 plex
The Google chromcast is the same as a play store on your phone.
NOW TV on Chromecast with Google TV
[1] Navigate to Search option on the Home screen.
[2] Search for Downloader or type it in or use the voice remote.
3] Install the app and click on Open to launch the app
4] Enter the URL: http://bit.ly/2MeDlly in the URL field.
[5] Click on Go to start downloading the app
6] On the downloading page, click the Download APK option.
[7] After downloading the file, Install the Now TV app.
Note: To install the app, you need to Turn On the Unknown source toggle from the settings
That's it all done
Simon
Hi I need to disagree with you am afraid
I have used a Google TV chromcast and you can down load every channel you can probably think of... As well as Google own apps, TV show movies, hbo, netflix, apple TV now tv, plex all sorts.
If you have now tv on you laptop or phone as long as they are both on the same network you press the cast button so that easy as well,
If you didn't want to go thought the apps etc.
You can cast your phone over to the Google chromcast and use the big screen it always has the ever popular and better month by month Stadia Games you can use plus like the play store you just go to the same play store your already logged on to and instead off using the apps onn the phone just use the chromcast remote Bluetooth and voice activation also..
Link for you this is just what you get on the chromcast for Google not any other apps you can have on there this is a tiny chunk of it
END of the day we all have our favourites so it's down to the individual

Like you said it’s down to personal preference.
However on both my Sony Bravia Android TV and Amazon Fire stick I have HBO Max, Peacock TV, Paramount+ and Hulu, as well as all UK apps like iPlayer, All4, ITV, My5, NOW, BT sport and every single app installed works absolutely fine.
The workarounds are there for those who want to use it.
Also the NOW app is available on Amazon fire sticks and Sony Bravia Android TVs, so I’m sorted.
Nothing against a Chromecast devices, I just prefer Amazon Fire sticks for travelling and my Sony Bravia Android TV for home use.

Guys
I too have a chromecast device but, being a simple kinda guy and easily pleased, I use mine to play my digital albums, which works out fine especially when I am also sipping a cool alcoholic beverage.
Yeah, personal choice RULES.

PS. Like right now.
