Disney+

I only just subscribed to Disney+ and within a week it stopped working on my Now TV box. I understand I might need to get a new one? However when I try to contact NOW TV I can't get through to anyone and I'm getting angry and I don't really want to spend loads on a new NOW TV Box without making sure it's the right one. HELP!

@Lizzie1

NOW no longer made their own streaming devices. So you need to make sure you buy a device listed in the below link.

Have you done a factory reset to the box?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

@Lizzie1

Disney+ does support a number of NOW devices, if you want to check your model specifically then have a look here: https://help.disneyplus.com/csp?id=csp_article_content&article=now-devices

My bad in perhaps assuming you had already checked there. If your specific model is not supported then there is no point asking NOW for help.

Is this the original Now Smart box, which takes an aerial input and shows you TV channels?

If so, then yes, Disney+ no longer support this particular box.

But every other Now box or Stick should still support it (except of course the original white box, now entirely obsolete).

However, as above, you can’t buy any of these any more. And nothing you can buy now will give you the TV channels.

But hopefully you have a TV for this; and if it’s a Smart one, it may even have Disney+ as an app on it, or detachable from the App Store on the TV.

Otherwise, I recommend a Roku Express, Roku Stick, or Amazon Firestick. And personally, I find the Roku UI much less cluttered.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

How can I get Disney+ on my NOW TV stick. I hear it's now available?

Hi @TVWatcher

The Disney + App should be under the NOW Stick Apps Store.
