Configuration

Because of the layout and construction of our house I have a number of Wi-Fi access points scattered around, will I be able to select which one I want to connect to?

Also I use OpenDNS, will that cause problems? or can I configure the DNS servers in the Now TV Box?

@Anonymous User it always searches by WiFi name. If yours is hidden then go to private and add details. If you have restricted devices, you will find the necessary information on the settings page.

Hi L

As far as I am aware, and the way wi-fi works, you can select which ever access point you want your NowTV equipment to connect to, as long as you have the correct address and password for each individual point.

Thanks, does that mean it shows a list of AP's it can see and then allow me to pick the one I want to use?

Hi @Anonymous User

It does indeed. as long as it can see your router/access point and you have the password you should be able to connect to your Wi-Fi

I do not work for Now . I am simply a Now customer trying to help I am a Community Contributor This means that I know a lot about the service. But just like you I am still a customer. This means I cannot help you with issues that would involve looking into your account directly. A member of the now TV forum team or live chat will need to assist you with these issues.

Thanks.

Anyone any idea on where it picks up the DNS server or what it uses as it's DNS server?
