Setting up my new Now TV box

Recently bought a Now TV box and when I have plugged it in I am getting a screen that says 'hello' and a menu of languages - but I can't click on anything using the remote? I have checked and double checked that the batteries are in properly! I've now read on here that it only works through the app using an LG tv? I'm not sure how to go about getting set up - help appreciated!

Firstly, your NowTV box will work on any television with an HDMI port.

You are the second forum member who has this issue in the last few days.

What i suggested to the other member was to do a hard factory reset by pushing a pin into the small hole in the back of the NowTV box for 30 secs.

Just tried to do this - it dodnt work.

Still getting the same screen - hello with a menu of languages. It says please refer to your product documentation for help.

When you press the remote control does the white light on the front of the box flash ?

You might have either a faulty remote controller or box.

This is a long shot, but do you have another NowTV controller (white or black version) laying around anywhere else in the house.

Where did you buy the box from and was it a recent purchase ?
