I certainly like Chernobyl and remember, when working late one night in Central London, seeing technicians putting out radioactive meter readers in the streets to see how much radiation was drifting into London.
It's almost difficult to believe that most of what is shown on the screen actually happened.

I used to be fascinated by Roentgen readings.
But people told me to get a half-life...

I see why it is the highest rated. It is a very well made show.
The latest episode made me cry though, I had to fast forward a few scenes.
Chernobyl has fascinated me since I was a teenager, I want to go there one day to see it.

Casey
My sympathies went to the old lady that was milking her cow,
that scene was truly heart wrenching.
Unfortunately brutal but necessary.

Still better than what we were all cunningly led to assume had happened....

I too would like to visit one day. When I was in Kiev 4 years after the disaster we attempted to board a train to get as close to Chernobyl as possible but we were arrested by the local Kiev militia and spent 3 hours in a prison before they decided we were just 'stupid foreigners' 😆
