Sky sports takes me back to home screen

I have just purchased a day pass for sky sports.

The app is working fine, entertainment works as does sky sports news. However when trying to watch a sky sports channel, it takes me out straight away and back to the home screen without even attempting to try and link to the channel.

It does the same with my box upstairs.

Any ideas?

Have you tried any basic troubleshooting, such as log off and log in or switch off everything and switch on again, please?

I tried everything such as factory settings.

I solved it by activating it on the now tv app which then somehow made sports on the now tv box to work.

No idea how.
