Cancelling it will only take effect when the Pass comes up for renewal. Nevertheless, you should Cancel it immediately, so it doesn’t come up for renewal.
Then go to Live Chat, as below, and explain these circumstances. They should be able to see that the Pass has not been used, and refund you accordingly.
