The Now TV app is really jerky and unwatchable on my new Apple TV. All other video apps play absolutely fine on the Apple TV and the same content plays perfectly on a dedicated Now TV box, so it seems to be an issue specifally with this app running on the Apple TV. Both boxes are hard wired with a network cable, both outputting into the same TV.
Disappointing as I hoped to replace the Now TV box and just use the Apple TV as my only set top box to reduce clutter.
Bit disappointed with the Sky help/support section that either does not work or asks me to log in when I already have or directs me to the Apple website, which is disappointing for an issue that only exists with the Now TV app. Get your act together SKY!!

Same for me. Watching via Apple TV is impossible. Constantly jittery. iOS devices however are fine. It's been like this for over a week now. Other video services on Apple TV are fine so it's not the box, the issue lies at NOW TV side. Please fix... We're paying for something that does not work.

Same here! Last couple of days it's unwatchable on Apple TV. 60MBps broadband connection so that's not the problem. Worked fine before. Really annoying.

Can you please confirm what generation of Apple TV you are currently viewing?

this is so annoying!!!!! Trying to watch game of thrones and the audio and video doesn't even match, it's so slow i can't even cope it's been like this for a couple of days now!
Have to keep pausing it for the video to catch up with the audio
I have the latest generation (4th generation I think)
Please sort it so I can watch the new game of thrones

I have found the video "juddering" whilst using the NOW tv app on the Apple TV4. The only way to sort this out is restarting the app (restarting the ATV). The problem is the NOW tv app as other videos play fine and internet speed of 76MB.

Have you tried 50hz video output in the ATV box menu settings ?
Also if available on your television try different motion processing options in the picture settings.

It really is beyond a joke now, been at least 3 weeks of jerky/out of synch entertainment & movies.
Come on Now TV get the Apple TV 4th Gen app sorted properly, we're paying for an unwatchable service

All NOW TV content runs at 50Hz, which is the same as all other UK based television content, as found on: BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, All 4 and My5). So you need to set the video output of your Apple TV device to 50Hz. Instead of its default 60Hz...
