Pro rate charges

Hi this morning I checked to see how much my new bill will be I new that it was going up so it’s £28.50 okay not happy about that but it is what it is but they’ve added on a pro rate charge which is an extra £20 something pounds bringing my monthly bill to £49 something please could someone explain I don’t even use my landline only for the internet thank you

Sounds like your discounted rate came to an end, this is never a lifetime discount. You should have received notification about the end of the contract and what to do next.

Call the broadband team to sort out a new deal. Make sure to be signed in for the call centre info.

As for the landline, with NOW its connections are all FTTC which means the landline is absolutely required. Irrespective of you using it or not.

the current offer online for super fibre is £24 for broadband and calls at cost

@gavs82008  Did you get an explanation for the pro rate? and the advertised cost for you should be £24 according to my search today. Hope you did get a good search

I am not a broadband customer with NOW, only TV and giving out advise when it comes to broadband. 

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
