Guaranteed minimum download speed of 33.5 Mbps

I should expect a guaranteed minimum download speed of 33.5 Mbps, however I am getting less than 6 Mbps. Testing the connection in NOW website, the results shows the expected value, however, testing it with other websites, I am getting consistent 6 Mbps. I am also not able to stream from two devices at same
time.

Anyone experiencing the same?

@6tz

Can you measure the speed you are getting on a device connected via an Ethernet cable while other internet traffic through your router is light or non-existent?

Or failing that, with a WiFi device in very close proximity to the router?

if you are getting less than 30Mbps that way, contact Now broadband by phone to get your line investigated.

Call 150 from a Now landline, or take your pick of:-

0800 759 1213, 0330 041 2518, 0330 041 2462, 0330 332 3050, 0330 041 2473, 0333 759 4816

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

I think you are confusing download speed  (probably over Wi-Fi) with sync (access line) speed.

See if this helps explain the difference:
