I have a Nowtv account but I only use it purely for the Internet yet I have been charged £4.50 on my: Aug 23rd bill for telephone calls even though I do not have a telephone with Now TV.
i adviser on the telephone was insistent that I have to borrow a landline telephone to: “test my telephone line” but I have no access to a landline telephone whatsoever, any advice would be appreciated?

Call them again and again until you get a suitable resolution.

You do have a telephone connection with Now, everyone does, but you may not use it.
Do the numbers called shine any light on the cause? Telephone engineers have been known to use calls to, for instance the speaking clock, when testing lines.
