Do you have the link that Now promised you, to track the delivery? That’s possibly what you are speaking of. So use that to contact Royal Mail, and ask what’s happened to it.
They should have a picture of wherever they delivered it to; I have a small collection of pictures of other people’s front doors to which packages addressed to us have been misdelivered, and my least favourite question is along the lines of “Is your front door green?” (It isn’t).
In the final analysis, though, it is Now’s responsibility to get your router correctly delivered, no matter who they subcontract delivery to, so if it is lost, ask Now to send you another one.
