Hi. I am drowning here as I am totally inept at the workings of the internet etc and have no one to help.
I have been using NOW for some years and all is ok. I have done speedcheck which says it is around 30 but sometimes my laptop is back to dial-up (and I am well old enough to remember that).
Now my printer which is upstairs and my laptop downstairs, has stopped printing. It states there is no signal. Often when using my phone on video call it will come up with a message to say move to a better area as signal strength is low but I am standing under the hub.
Can anyone help as I don't know which way to turn.

Broadband staff won't be coming onto help. See this link.

Below are some standard things you can and probably have done before calling the team.
Have you done a factory reset to the router indicated in the link below?https://help.nowtv.com/article/improve-broadband-speed
This link also shows any planned outages as well wide spread faults.

You need to call the broadband team. See link for number.

@chilli2
no, just me living here so no multiple devices used. Open reach do seem to be working constantly in the village, so often they may as well live here. Not sure if that could be affecting it?
Would a wifi extender help and is there one that is very simple to install, pref plug & play?
