Cannot access iCloud.com using NOW Broadband Wifi

Hi,

Woke up to a weird issue this morning.

I am trying to access iCloud.com on Chrome/Edge browser on my Win 11 laptop connected to NOW Broadband Wifi connection.

I get the a pop-up that says "iCloud encountered an error connecting to the server". However, if I connect my Win 11 laptop to a mobile hotspot WiFi, iCloud works without any issue on these browsers! So it must the Wifi connection through the NOW Broadband router.

Things I tried so far:

  • Apple Chat - > useless , no solution provided
  • Restarted NOW Broadband router - No luck
  • Cleared cache on Edge and Chrome browsers - no luck
  • Checked that Parental Controls / Broadband Buddy are turned OFF
  • Restarted Laptop - no luck

Just to add, I am able to access iCloud through my iOS device (iPhone) connected to the same NOW Broadband Wifi.

Any clues how to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance

Roy

Try Firefox.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.

@ssray23

Did you try a factory reset to the router?
