Broadband drop out

Hi,

I have a new job (I don't want to loose it) and this week I got to work from home but have got very little done because of connectivity issues. I have lost count how many times I have switched everything off and on again.

Despite connecting my laptop via an ethernet cable to the hub box, my internet keeps dropping out. I have gone through the process of testing the line speed and having the lines tested myself but everything is coming back fine. I have spoken to my service desk at work and they have done what they can there end and it still seems to be an issue with my internet. It has always done it but like an idiot I just us my mobile data or switch everything off. We have upgraded to Super fibre and it is still happening, even gave it time to bed in. I will need to find a new provider if you can not resolve this issue but let be honest they BT lines and I don't want to pay their prices for terrible service.  PLEASE HELP!

Regards

G

If you go elsewhere, you will get a better router and at the lower price points, the service will usually be poor. (something has to suffer to keep the prices down)

Have you checked if you are in an FTTP (full fibre) area, as that should give you a more reliable service.

If not then yes, you are probably reliant on an Openreach copper connection.

Have you contacted Now, so they can check your connection?
