Broadband and TV connections

We have been having issues with the broadband connection for the past 3 weeks. We went on holiday and turned the power off. Since turning it back on the broadband connection is slow and buffering, today it stopped running several apps. I have re-booted the router and the line test says everything is fine. Does anyone have any suggestions?
