Checked my Apple TV this morning and NOW received an update. I checked Sky Sports F1 live stream and I can now pause, rewind and fast forward it. Also it lets me rewind back 2 hours before I started the stream so it looks like it has a 2 hour streaming buffer.
So thats 2 things ticked off my wishlist and even more than I wanted which is a bonus:
1. 1080p catchup for the F1 sessions
2. Pausing live sports streams.
Thanks again to the developers for making some really big improvements to the app.
