NOW TV app won't let me play anything on windows 10s

I have downloaded the NOW TV app through the windows store, however once it has installed and opened it will not let me play anything.

An error occur's, it first says the video failed to play - try again. Then automatically goes to a screen saying 'something's not right, a problem is preventing playback, please try again'.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling etc, but it still comes up with the same error. 

 

Please help!

 

Oh and my laptop runs windows 10s if that's anything to do with it?

Hi,

 

im jumping in on this post as I have the same message, so to save repetition I’m hanging in on yours👍

 

I have Windows10 (clean install), I have linked this up to my monitor and projector but have the same issue on both. 

 

I read in one place a problem possibly with it being vga connection but would love to know if this is correct and how to remedy it without buying another monitor or especially a projector as the projector is only a week old.
