There is a 6 month offer for the sports channels, 21 pounds a month, cancel anytime. But how can it be cancel anytime if it's a 6 month offer?

You can have it for 1,2,3,4,5, or 6 months and pay £21 for each month you have it.  At month 7 it goes up to £34/month.  You can cancel at any time and it will cease at the end of the month you paid for.

So if you like darts, you can get it right now, cancel immediately and watch until 19th January. (1 month)

If you like football, get it now and cancel at start of May and watch until 19th May. (5 months)

It's a discounted rate for 6 months, doesn't mean you are tied in for 6 months. As @starman73 says you can have it as long as you need it for. 

What you need to bear in mind is when you do decide to cancel you will lose the discounted rate and will need to hunt for a new offer if you want sports again.

When you decide to cancel, you lose the discounted rate only on the next renewal date, I.e. the same period that the subscription lasts for after you decide to cancel.

If you resubscribe while the subscription is still running, you get to keep the discounted rate once again, until the original discount period runs out.
