Charged out of the blue

I have not used NowTV or membership for a long time. 
Out Christmas shopping today and receive a email thanking me for my order of Sports for the day. £11.99. 

This order was never sanctioned my end and NowTV have charged my card without any order or consent.

What it sounds like is someone has got a hold of your account somehow and taken the membership out. So there are several things you need to do straight away.

  1. Change your password and sign out of ALL devices.

  2. Put a payment PIN on your account, this will stop anything new starting without your say so.

  3. Check your account to see if it's been taken through the website. Have a full read of this as an FYI

  4. Jump onto live chat to speak with staff about a refund. Make sure to be signed in and use the 'How to get in touch' drop down.

Nothing to add to @gavs82008‘s good advice above, though.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
