I orderd now tv broadband but now I check to see my order now says cancelled

I ordered my now tv broadband package over a week ago and all went well. I checked today to see my order now says it is cancelled and my kits delivery and turn on date are now on hold.

I've have tried ringing but they hung up on me and then rang again to be on hold for over an hour to still never speak to anyone. Does anyone have any idea what may be going on, because in a few days i will have no internet because of this mess, and its all down to them.

Hi Plassy

I don't know if your story is true or not, but if your being messed about with by this company then you are perfectly within your rights to try another Telecom/Internet company.

Right now, you are left "up in the air" without a parachute so get that parachute and try elsewhere.

Think yourself lucky.

I have had the same issue due to a failure to take over the broadband.

However, they did manage to take over the phone at the time.

They have now cancelled the order completely and have left me with no landline phone.

After lengthy calls and messages, I have been told I have to re-order and there is no priority.

This means the phone will have been disconnected for nearly a month!

I have been promised an email from the manager to see if we can resolve this issue, but that he is out of the office until Sunday (!)

Perhaps we both should just take it in our stride and just move on.

Or maybe you should ask for the £5 a day service delay compensation.

It’s a voluntary Ofcom scheme, but Sky are in it, so NowTV ought to be as well.

When you speak to that manager, tell him you expect £150, if it has been a month now, whether you stay with NowTV broadband or not.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
