Broadband

Hello, i am trying to get your broadband but it is saying that it is not available at my address, why is this?

These people are a joke and I would stay well clear of them.

I waited 45 days for an install and they just blame openreach all the time.

Not very clever either as the updates started to repeat themselves.

Customer service just like to you promise call backs but never do it.

The complaint on chat will simply end with it's nothing to do with us and a very sarcastic have a nice day.

Because Sky do not have the equipment installed in your local exchange that will enable them to pick up your broadband requirement and transfer it to their servers (Local Loop Unbundling - you can look it up on Wikipedia if you like).

 

As per the post from @Anonymous User you should not necessarily look on this as a disadvantage.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
