Leave it on or off

Is it best to keep my Now tv Box on all day and night (which is what I had to do with Sky) or can I turn it off when I go to bed which is what I have been doing. I’m just wondering if it makes a difference

The box goes into a low-power Eco mode when it's not being used which uses very little power so it's designed to be left on all the time, however if you are happier or it's more convenient to turn it off at the mains it won't do any harm, the box will check for updates when it's next powered up.

@Anonymous User my smart box is in my bedroom and on same extension as TV and other items with lights on. I turn it off as those annoy me. Sometimes it is off for days. Never have any problem.
