Welcome to the forum. It is possible for someone to purchase NOW TV passes from the NOW TV app on the box, but you can prevent this by enabling your payment PIN on your My Account > Payment PIN page

You can also rent or buy movies on the Sky Store app on the box, but only if you sign into the app with a Sky Store account. If you don't sign into the app with an account then it's safe. If you do have a Sky Store account you can set a payment PIN for that by logging into your account on the Sky Store website.
