My NowTV Stick has finally updated, but prior to that I tried to force the update from the (not very) Secret Menu.
This did not work.
I think this method only works if the update is waiting for you anyway, but your device just hasn’t got round to installing it yet.
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
