Why has Games of Thrones season 1,2,3,4,5 gone from nowtv?
I'm no longer able to view it!
Hi @Anonymous User
game of thrones has gone due to content rights. NowTV are only allowed to have content available for a certain amount of time, after which they must remove the content. Due to the agreements they have with content rights holders in the case of game of thrones, the rights holders are HBO. HBO content is also some of the most expensive content around, especially game of thrones, so even if NowTV could keep it. The cost of keeping it would probably become prohibitive after a certain point, which means it could only be kept at the expense of losing other content.
The slightly better news is the game of thrones box sets will probably be back in February/March next year just before season seven starts
It has been known for a long time that the expiry date of the game of thrones box sets was June 13 most devices show the expiry date of content and if content is going to expire within the next 30 days. You will see an expiry countdown on all devices and also the now TV website. I myself warned people over three weeks ago that the box sets where going to expire

Are you a brand new customer @Anonymous User?
If so you would be on a 14 day free trial. Which means you only start paying after the free trial expires...

I can see from your post that you are currently on a 14 day free entertainment trial.
You also mention that you have a 3 month entertainment voucher, a quick question have you already applied the voucher to your account ?
If for some reason you haven't and waiting somewhere towards the end of the trial to apply the voucher code, then NowTV have confirmed that Game of Thrones will be back on their boxset service Seasons 1 to 6 during December.
Should you have not applied the 3 month voucher yet, if it was me i would cancel your 14 day free trial before the trial expires (don't worry you will get the full duration of the trial when cancelling early) then once NowTV have officially added the GOT boxsets to their service in December, go back into My Account > My Passes and apply your 3 month entertainment voucher pass code.
Obviously, ignore my post if you have already added your 3 month entertainment voucher to your account.

Hey Schnapps
Still plan on watching Tin Star? If so, and you're still interested, I could give you my non-spoilery thoughts.
Catch you later.

Unfortunately since that post NOW TV have replied that there's currently no confirmed date for GoT's return, so if GoT will be a main factor in you rejoining make sure you double-check it's available before subscribing.
What has happened in the past over Xmas/New Year is Sky Atlantic have a GoT marathon where they show several episodes each evening, but you need to watch these live as they wont appear on catch-up afterwards, which may or may not be of use to you, but again check listings mags nearer the time before subscribing.
