Hello,
I'm trying to watch a tv show that's on live and it's asking me to enter a viewing pin. My parental pin is turned off and I've entered that pin anyway and it says it's not correct. It specifically says viewing pin. I see there's payment pins that can be set up. Is this what it's asking for? And if so does that mean there's an extra charge to watch a tv show live (I'm subscribed to tv viewing now movies)?
Thanks very much.

Viewing PIN on certain Live channels are mandatory and you have to use it. This was a requirement by Ofcom.

Thanks very much! I've set up the pin but does that mean I'll be charged if I stream a live tv show? Or is it simply a security measure?

As long as you are signed in with a membership that allows you to watch that content, you won’t be charged anything extra, no.
It’s just them needing you to prove you are an adult before you can watch live streams before the watershed.
Or like when you are in Sainsbury’s, and you have paid for your bottle of gin at the advertised price, but the assistant has to certify you are over 18.

The parental PIN is completely different from the payment PIN.
If you’ve set up both then this is very wise security so nothing can be accidentally purchased without the payment PIN being entered.
As pointed out by @RoyB the parental is just to make sure your an adult for the live channels that it’s required of.
