Pin problems

Been using now tv via my iPad to a google chrome cast stick in my tv without problems for a couple of weeks. Tried to set both a parental pin and a payment pin (which I did) but as soon as I had, it wouldn't cast to my tv - removed pins and it will cast again straight away no problems - why is this? Tried usual turning off iPad, resetting wifi etc but not made any difference.

 

Concerned over children accessing unsuitable content/ adding passes on without my permission.

Do you receive any error messages on either the TV or the tablet when trying to cast with the pins enabled?

No error messages - it looks like it's thinking about it (scrolling circle icon) then does nothing.

I've just tried this on my Android tablet and when I try to cast a movie with parental controls enabled, it does ask for the pin before the stream starts. 

Are you sure the NOW TV app on your tablet is updated to the latest version? That might help.
