you have taken 2 payments out of my account

Hiya I have just had a look at my account and it shows nowtv have taken two payments out on my account on the same day.

Can you explain why? And let me know how you are going to correct this as you have made my bank account go overdrawn which I don't have authorisation for which means I will be charged an unauthorised over draft fee of £25.00

I would appreciate it if you could get back toe ASAP!

Hi and welcome to the forum @Anonymous User,

 

The most probable reason why this is happening is because you've somehow created more than one NOW TV account registered to the same debit/credit card!

 

That being said... For security reasons, all issues related to your NOW TV 'account' [such as, NOW TV account removal/card details removal and refunds] are subject to the Data Protection Act and can't be discussed on the open forum, which means it's more appropriate for you to directly contact a NOW TV representative rather than asking one of them (or somebody who may be posing as one of them) to contact you via the forum!

 

You can contact a NOW TV representative via the forums 'Live Chat' facility or 'Send us a message' facility by using a Windows or Mac computer, not a mobile device, as their web browsers might not be sophisticated enough to display 'pop-up' windows (ie: windows within windows). Also, Mac or IOS device users will require JavaScript support enabled in their Safari internet browsers. Here's what you need to do: -

 

  • Click on the following: How To Contact NOW TV link.
  • To 'Send us a message', click on the light blue 'Send Message' button.
  • To start a 'Live Chat', click on the dark blue 'Chat online' button.
  • A new 'What can we help you with today?' pop-up window should open up.
  • Click on the 'Request Chat' button.

I have had 2 payment  taken out off my account both on the same day can you explain why this has happened please

@Anonymous User Welcome to the forum. If you pop onto your My Account > My Payments page you should see what payments have come out of your account and for what

 

https://account.nowtv.com/payments

 

If you don't see your duplicate payment there it might have come from another account , check any other usernames you have.

 

If you can't find the source, pop onto live chat explain what's happened and see if they can investigate.

I signed up for the 14 day trial. I thought that I had canceled this only to find out that I had been charged for the TV pass at the end of the month, and that I had been charged for an extra movie pass that I knew nothing about. I am student and cant afford this. The money that was taken out was all the money I had left in my account!

Hi there,

 

Sorry to piggy back your message but i cant see how to compose a new message. I have had the same issue and i cancelled my free pass the same day as i activated it and would like refund now

I would also recommend enabling your Payment PIN in your account, this will prevent accidental or unauthorised payments in the future.  To turn your Payment PIN on, go to your My Account > Payment PIN page
