Sign in issue with a new devise.

I'm new to now tv. I've followed all the instructions. I activated my 2month free pass (now day 2 of not using it). I get to the sign in on my tv. It takes me to the secret word to prove I'm not a robot. Then tells me sorry something went wrong we are working on It! Please help!!

Welcome to the forum. Which device are you trying to watch with? If it's a NOW TV box try pushing a pin into the reset hole at the back until it restarts itself (or if you have the larger black NOW TV smart box push the reset hole underneath for about 30-40 seconds with something like a pen lid) and try again.

Thank you Andy. It's the basic box. I've done the pin to reset & started again. It still tells me the same message when I get to the robot word. I've followed the instructions. My account seems to be set up. All bank details saved/ voucher redeemed ext (which is what the trouble shooting questions suggest the problem is).. I'm at a loss

I've only seen those verification prompts once so I'm not sure what prompts their appearance, wish I knew the secret formula they use to determine when to show them then I'd know how to bypass them!

 

Just to check everything's ok with your account go to your My Account >My Passes page http://account.nowtv.com/passes
and make sure you can see your active pass.

If so, go to your My Account > Account Details page http://account.nowtv.com/account-details and check what username you are logged in as.

Then make sure this is the username you are using to sign into your box.

 

If it is and you still can't get past the verification, the only thing I can suggest is to pop onto live chat, explain what's happening and see if they can work out the problem.

Thanks for all your help. It was the bank info in the end.. if scanned my card.. it had all the correct info.. but I deleted & entered manually.. it worked after that.
