I had made a free trial account last year to watch a series. After 1 month I stopped using the streaming website altogether. Just to check last month that I've been charged 11.99 FOR A WHOLE YEAR! That's 144£ wasted, down the drain! There's no way I can reach them either to get my money back and I really need someone to look into this issue for me, I am so angry and confused

There is NO free trials for NOW unless you’re talking about Hayu.
So unless you cancelled then you would have been left paying. Not using your account does absolutely jack to stop any payments.
It is and always be down to the user to pay attention to what they signed up for and to manage their membership(s).

There IS a way to speak to them, there are seriously countless threads with ways of getting in touch with staff. It certainly wont be done on here, as staff simply don’t come to deal with account issues. See this link for the forum purpose.

Live Chat will probably give you three months back. That seems to be the going rate.
What made you think you were getting a free trial? Though even if you were, you have to Cancel to stop the payment(s).
Or did you read something, which you can still refer to now, which misled you?
