Start date

I switched to now tv broadband and the rep offered me a date of the 13/01/23. As such I cancelled my previous broadband but it was easier to let my contract run out on the 1/02/23.

I checked my now tv start date and it now says it will activate on the 13/02/23. Not ideal when working from home.

any ideas?

@Susancarhan
Who was your previous provider?
Ideally you shouldn’t have cancelled it and let NOW do all the leg work.

Switching from a cable broadband provider, like Virgin Media? To make sure you don't lose your broadband service, only cancel your cable broadband service after NOW Broadband is up and running.

If you're switching from a non-cable provider (like Sky, BT or Plusnet) we'll work with your current provider to transfer your phone line. Your current broadband service will be cancelled automatically when your line is switched over to NOW Broadband, so you don’t need to do anything.

Hmm, somebody has made a mistake here! With the benefit of hindsight you could have asked NOW to switch from your previous provider in which case they could have managed the handover. That ship has sailed though, all you can do now is get in touch with the support team to check what's going on, call 0330 041 2518. They don't respond to customers on here I'm afraid.
