Windows 10 Now TV Player error - Entry Point Not Found

I have just logged in to Now TV on my Windows 10 laptop to watch a programme, and on clicking the play button I was informed that there was an update to the Now TV Player.

Being a well behaved, do as you're told sort of computer user, I upgraded and now can't watch anything!

Every time I press play, I get an error message telling me that:

The procedure entry point

?get_builtin_module@node@@YAPAUnode_module@1@PBD@Z could not be located on the dynamic library

C:\Users\Loki\AppData\Roaming\NOW TV\NOW TV Player\Now TV Player.exe

This means nothing to me whatsoever, but clearly there is something amiss with the updated version of the Now TV Player.

I have uninstalled the player, re-installed. Turned my laptop off and on again - all the usual stuff - but it still doesn't work.

Please could anyone advise?

Many thanks,

Stuart

I have two windowws 10 PCs (both running the latest version of Win10)

I have tried to get this crappy NOW TV player working on both PCs using IE/Chrome and Firefox (all latest versons) browsers.  None work!!!

All I get is an error message from the NOW TV player; "Error p20001"

Then a link to the NOW TV "Help Article" which in fact has no help article listed for "Error p20001"

Unreal that this is such an amaturish operation for a multi billion dollar company.

Tried to use the live chat and send message features of the site but they are both not working!

* Live chat has no button or link.

* 'Send Message' button is clickable but does not work.

Really need some help with this please, is it on the development team's backlog yet?

Exactly the same problem. Everything was working great until I was forced to download the new update (NOWTVPlayerInstaller-Full-Windows.exe, v2.0.1.0), and now I get this error every time I try to launch a program:

---------------------------
NOW TV Player.exe - Entry Point Not Found
---------------------------
The procedure entry point ?get_builtin_module@node@@YAPAUnode_module@1@PBD@Z could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Users\Neil\AppData\Roaming\NOW TV\NOW TV Player\NOW TV Player.exe.

I work in software development, so I know that these things happen, but to ignore reports on your forum for three days? Uncool. Service cancelled.

Can you guys all list your Graphics Card (nvidia, AMD, Intel) please?

Also, can you check the CPU usage when trying to use the NOW TV APP?

Have any of you guys downloaded the NOW TV App from the Windows Store? (Windows 10 and 8.1 only at this point guys)

Thanks,

I'll keep an eye on this from here on out.
