Problems streaming from laptop

Have been trying to watch GoT streaming fromn our laptop to TV; allows us to pick episode, then screen starts for ep but stays blank with the timer stuck at 0.00.  DOes not seem to be loading or buffering, cannot skip ahead.  Does the same whether HDMI connected or not.  Can anyone advise if there is an issue with the srteaming service at the moment?  Thanks

Hi @Anonymous User,

The service is working fine on my LG television. Have you tried rebooting your router (by disconnecting the power, waiting 30 seconds and reconnecting the power)?

Cheers

Hi @Anonymous User

So you no there are currently issues with the NOW TV player on PC and MAC. Our tech teams are working to fix the issues currently if possible please use an alternative device to watch content on NOW TV until the issue is resolved. Have a look at the supported devices here http://po.st/1jci8h. You can try these steps which may help roll you back to the older version of the NOW TV player however there is no guarentee that it will work. Steps below,

Locate “NOW TV Player” in the apps list of “Apps & Features” in Windows Settings

Verify the version number is 2.1.0.0

To resolve:

          1. Uninstall Cisco VideoGuard Player

          2. Uninstall NOW TV Player 2.1.0

          3. Clear the Cookies on your Web Browser

          4. Select some content to play and follow the steps to re download the Player

Hi @Anonymous User

Do you have any other advice? I've got the most recent update but I am still having the same issue which makes it almost impossible for me to watch anything on a good screen 😕 I have followed the steps you've posted but they do not seem to have made a difference as I still cannot watch GoT (or the one other show I tried). Any other suggestions you have would be appreciated!

Thanks
