Just want to know if anyone else had this issue?
I signed up to Disney+ on their website and then logged into Disney+ on the Roku connected to my lounge TV. What was weird was that the other two NOW TV boxes in my house were immediately able to access Disney+ even though I had never entered the login/password on them.
All three boxes are on the same NOW TV account, and I guess somehow the Disney+ login/password were shared by my NOW TV account. But in the past I have always had to enter login/password on all three devices separately for every service I use.
I'm wondering if this is somehow related to the Roku account's ability to store login/passwords?

If I’m not mistaken Disney+ will share your password with other devices on the same network.
Its been a while since I’ve had to login to Disney+ though.

My Roku box is on a cable connection while one of my NOW TV boxes is on my backup broadband, so there is no network connection between them.

It’s coming from the same router therefore the same network.

It would help if I read your post right.
Sorry you said “on my backup broadband”. Totally misread it and assumed incorrectly.
Again sorry for the confusion on my part!

From memory the Roku and NOW devices use different login details.
With Roku you need a Roku account, then obviously NOW login to get into the app and any NOW devices.
That being said I haven’t used my NOW or Roku stick in a few years!
