Unable to sky sports channels

Purchased sky sports pass, when I go to the channel it bounces me back to the home page

What playback devices have you tried with the Sports Pass ?

Have you bought a day, week, month or mobile sports pass ?

Would that be using a NowTV Box / Stick or Roku Player hooked up to your television ?

Or are you using the inbuilt Native NowTV App on a Samsung or LG Smart TV ?

There was a bug on NowTV and Roku players a few weeks back, that would jump you back to the home screen once somebody bought a new sports pass.

I was under the impression this bug was quashed by NowTV.

The workaround fix was to start watching the NowTV Sports channels on another device such has your smartphone NowTV App, then jump back to your NowTV / Roku Player which then seemed to play the sports channels normally.

Also i would be inclined to undertake a forced software update on your NowTV / Roku Player by following these instructions.

This updates your software, fixing any faults in the process.

• Start by pressing your NOW TV remote control buttons in this order:

Home x5
Fast Forward x3
Rewind x2

• Select the Update Software option that appears on the next screen.
• Press OK, even if you already have the latest version.
