Hi, first time using this site so hope someone can help. Just got now tv combo installed but want to move the router. Is the purple cable just a phone extension cable or is it a special one. Cheers Keith
Welcome to the forum. It's an RJ11 cable. It's generally a good idea to keep the router as close to the master socket as you can, using long cables could lead to lower speeds, but RJ11 cables are cheap enough to give it a try.
