Can no longer login to now tv box

Hello,

 

I've been using the white roku tv box for a while without problems.  This morning the hdmi cable was mistakenly unplugged, and after plugging it back in I was asked to login again.  My details weren't recognised over several attempts (they worked fine on the computer); I reset the password, still no joy, reset the box, still no joy.

 

Any ideas?

Just a quick thought, is the HDMI cable damaged?

 

Back to your white box, you do know that white Now TV boxes are way past their sell by date and, most importantly, their expected life span.

 

If you have reset the box, by pressing the reset button for 30 seconds or more, and the box still does not respond as expected then maybe it's time to retire it.
