Are you using your new NowTV box over WiFi or via a Ethernet cable ?
If you are using via WiFi when you go into the box menu settings under network what is the WiFi signal strength like ?
Do you know what sort of broadband download speeds you are getting at your household ?
You could try switching off at the power mains both your Router and box for a minute, then restart your Router first let it go through it's reboot procedure and then switch back on the nowtv box to see if there is any improvement.
