NowTv logo scrolls across screen and remote is not gaining access to programmes.

Before Christmas holiday, I was able to use all I needed on NowTv.  Since holiday, the NowTv logo scrolls across the screen and the remote apparently has no control.  I have renewed batteries in remote but that has made no difference.
