Today was my go live date. The internet is working fine however, I can not got the TV to work. I go through everything such as connecting to the internet, the date etc. Then I enter my username and passwored and it says unknown error, please reenter your username and password. They are both right so I can not understand why it isn't working?

Welcome to the forum. Just to double check the username, can you go to your My Account > My Package page on the website
http://account.nowtv.com/my-package
signing in in with the username you are trying to use on your box, and make sure this page shows your combo package. If it doesn't it's the wrong username, if it does try rebooting your router, waiting a few minutes, the unplug the NOW TV box for a couple of minutes and try again.

Did you see your combo package listed correctly on the website My Account > My Package page?

If so, check that nobody in the house has made any changes to the broadband to make it look as if you are not in the UK (eg anybody using a VPN, proxy servers or watching Netflix US as these will stop NOW TV working).
If not, look underneath the NOW TV box you'll see a small reset button. With the box powered up, press that it and hold it for a good few seconds until you see the box restart itself on the screen (it's awkward to push in so use a pen or something similar). Then try setting up again.
