Log out necessary ?

New user here, so far very pleased.

I find it a pain to enter my username and password via the remote. (I would have choose something shorter if I had known)

Any disadvantage to just closing the stream, and leaving myself logged in ?

Welcome to the forum.

Theres no need to log out of the NOW TV app each time, it's designed to be left logged in. The box will automatically go into a 'screensaver' mode after a few minutes of inactivity and uses very little power even when being used.

The only thing I would suggest, if there are other people in your household, is to enable your payment PIN on your account, this will stop anybody else from accidentally purchasing passes on the box without you realising. If you haven't already you can enable this from your My Account > Payment PIN page on this webiste
