Welcome to the forum. Just check on your My Account > Payment Details screen https://account.nowtv.com/payment-details
that your card details look ok, and also on your My Account > My Passes page https://account.nowtv.com/passes
that your pass and/or free trial looks ok. Then try the steps on the following help page

Also if you get your broadband from BT try following the steps in this help article to turn Smart Setup off
