I’ve been charged over £30 from Dec with membership fees after applying for free trial and paying to watch one movie. I would like to apply for a refund

There is NO free trials anymore for starting with. The only time you will be handed a free trial is a bolt on to another membership within the offers section.
Of which ALL offers clearly state the free trial and in the T&C explain they will be auto renewed and charged at X amount unless cancelled.

For any chance of a refund you must speak to staff via live chat. Make sure to be signed in and use the 'How to get in touch' drop down.

But take the advice in the link on how to contact Now for a refund nevertheless.

Oh, and you don’t ’pay to watch one movie’. With a Cinema subscription, you can watch as many as you like, month to month.

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
