In Regards to Movies etc

Hiya Everyone! Hope your all doing very well! I have a huge question to ask. I have been watching a lot of movies on Now TV, but lately I noticed some of the Jackass movies, and some animation movies are now no longer available? Does anyone know what has happened, and if they are returning? 🙂

Most probably the licence rights have expired.

Usually on most playback devices when using the NOW App when closer to the expiry date there will be a countdown reminder next to the Movie or TV show season or episode.

Also this website link below is useful to see what movies are currently available on NOW and how long they will be on the NOW service.

Ah, this makes perfect sense on why. I have been using Now TV for a long time and usually they tend to return after a while. Thanks so much for your two responses, I will see whether they may return them as I do like watching them on Now TV's platform. 🙂

I found that The Cat in the Hat Movie with Mike Myres has gone too. (I do apologies it was my error its not animated haha).

The Jackass franchise is owned by Paramount. So it's more likely to remain on Paramount+ as @schnapps mentioned. 

Outside of anything owned by Universal, it's likely to come and go. Whereas Disney owned films most likely won't ever come on NOW as they want you to go to to Disney+.

As for The Cat in the Hat Movie, this is a joint job of Paramount and Universal, so it could return at some point. However that is also on Paramount+.

Best to use https://www.justwatch.com/uk to keep an eye on anything to see where it might be.

The Jackass movies might have moved over to the Paramount+ streaming service.

So might not be returning to the NOW service.

Out of curiosity what animation movies have you noticed that have recently left the NOW service?

Where again ask Sky Viewer Relations if they will be returning to Sky Cinema in the future and if so any known return dates.
