Broadband apparently being cancelled because someone is moving to my address

Hi I am being told by NOW TV my broadband is being cancelled because someone is moving to my address and taking over my account. No one is moving here its a mistake. I have tried calling and was assured it would be sorted ... nothing was sorted. I then emailed customerservices@NOWTV and received a reply full of wierd text and spelling mistakes that looked like a scam. Why is there just this community thread and no where advertised on this website to contact people that isn't scammy or costs a fortune to call? . I want to get this sorted simply .....?! 



You’ve been ‘slammed’, as it’s called, though probably by accident, and need to prevent this happening.

As you have Now Broadband, there are a whole range of numbers you can call, at least one of which will have been advised to you when you started your first contract.

However, here are some to pick from, and insist on action this time:-

Try 0330 041 2518, 0330 041 2462, 0800 759 1213 or 0330 332 3050

Please let me know if any of them no longer work for you, so I can keep my list up to date.

By the way, customerservices@ (without the embedded space) is a genuine Now resource, so I don’t know why the reply you got was garbled.

But as to spelling mistakes, see the last line of my signature, and then look at the top of the Community 😛

Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it. Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now. That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
