Skybell doorbell camera won’t connect to hub

My Skybell Slim II ADC-VDB105X doorbell camera used to work with my old Wi-Fi and is set up on my alarm.com account.

Since switching to Now broadband it won’t connect. I tried to re-add the device according to instructions (put in AP WPS mode and then use my phone to connect to the AP, then point the device at my Now hub with Wi-Fi password, standard stuff)

But the device never completes the setup. It gets to 20% (whatever that means) in the ADT app during the installation phase and eventually fails with no useful error.

Any ideas?

Solved. This was an oddity of the ADT system that silently fails to re-add an existing device. Deleting the device and then re-adding worked. So this wasn’t anything to do with Wi-Fi or Now

@JimJB

What about changing the Wifi name of the router to the old one?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

Thanks for the reply. No idea what it was as this is a rental property.

I'm wondering if the broadband buddy is blocking it.

Try turning it off or setting a higher age bracket.

How do I set up and manage parental controls for NOW Broadband? (nowtv.com)

Thanks. I’ve set it to 18 and no change.
