Now says my download speed is 80Mbps, but in practice I never get close

NowTV's online speed test, from their end, says "80Mbps down, 20Mbps up".

But with speedtest.net or fast.com on any of my devices I see about 16Mbps down, and 19Mbps up.

What can account for the difference? It's the same on all my devices, all connected by WiFi.

What should I try first?

A test over Ethernet. Expect to lose approx 10% on the sync speed.
