Hi Folks
I cannot find a specific group for telephone issues so please feel free to redirect me if necessary.
The problem I have is that the DTMF(?) dial tones do not work, when you are on a call and get the options press 1 for this dept, 2 for that dept etc. the keypad beeps but it is not heard on the other end.
At first I thought it was a fault at the recipient end, but then it happened with a different company and then another.
Checked my phone and tried another, plugged directly into the master socket with no filters etc.
Still the same.
The line itself works perfectly as does the broadband, no issues whatsoever.
The automated line check shows all is well and does not give me an option to continue or contact anyone either by chat or telephone - where do I go from here?

Thanks for the tip, I dialled the number and guess what? I got the press 1 for X etc. only this time it worked!
So I guess that the issue is at the recipient end (in this case The AA) and not mine.
