Broadband summary is "looking good" but speeds very low on devices


2 and a half weeks ago, my partner and I moved into our new home and set up a broadband account with NOW (Fab Fibre).

The internet is working, and the "broadband summary" tool says that everything is working as it should be (63 Mbps download). However, the actual real world speed is much much lower. It tends to hover between 0.5Mbps and 5Mbps. This includes when the device is next to the router.

I have tried the steps provided on the broadband summary tool. 

What should I do next?

Are these speeds over Wi-fi or Ethernet?

If it’s Wi-fi have you tried splitting the bands?

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help
